Carmen (Maribel Verdú) is an experienced detective whose soul was hardened by a personal tragedy seven years ago, and who is angry with the whole world. Eva (Aura Garrido) is a rookie police officer who is Carmen’s polar opposite: idealistic and full of life. Together, they must investigate a mysterious series of murders whose victims come from among the art patrons of the upper echelons of society. Carmen and Eva try to put their conflicts aside and decipher the clues, which reveal a strange connection to an 80-piece series of etchings by the world-famous Spanish painter Francisco de Goya.
