Eredeti nyelven (angol, spanyol, görög), magyar felirattal ※ in original language (English, Spanish, Greek) with Hungarian subtitles ––– A… történet a hetvenes évek végén, valahol a Földközi-tenger térségében játszódik. A film Panos Karnezis 2007-ben megjelent, azonos című regényének adaptációja. A szerzőt Marcos Timoleon alakjának megformálásakor Arisztotelész Onasszisz felemelkedése és tragédiákkal terhelt családi története inspirálta. ––– The story takes place in the late 1970s, somewhere in the Mediterranean. Marcos, however, is accustomed to controlling everything and everyone around him like a godfather, whatever the cost. He feels that he has already decided his daughter’s future. Sofia, meanwhile, has brought some important news of her own. As the guests arrive and night falls over the island, the festivities become increasingly wild and unrestrained, while the power struggle between father and daughter hurtles inevitably toward tragedy. The film is an adaptation of Panos Karnezis’s 2007 novel of the same title. In creating the character of Marcos Timoleon, the author was inspired by Aristotle Onassis’s rise to power and his family history marked by tragedy.

Míg az eredeti mű a 19. század végén sokkolta a közönséget a társadalmi rétegeken átívelő szexuális kapcsolataival, a 2020-as évek magyar feldolgozása a Tinder-generáció elé tart görbe tükröt. ––– In today’s digital world, meeting people is almost unimaginable without smartphones and various dating apps. This modern, often absurd reality is explored in the dramedy 10-Night Adventure, which will be released in Hungarian cinemas in September, distributed by Pannonia Entertainment. The filmmakers have taken on no less a task than completely reimagining Arthur Schnitzler’s classic play La Ronde (Reigen). While the original work shocked audiences at the end of the 19th century with its sexual relationships spanning different social classes, this Hungarian adaptation for the 2020s holds up a mirror to the Tinder generation. Through ten interconnected dates, the story explores desires, disappointments, the human games played out in the online world, and just how absurd dating has become today. The film remains faithful to the original structure, but its context has shifted to contemporary Budapest nightlife and the loneliness of the digital age.

Tovább

It is lonely—just like the other inhabitants of the garden, brought thousands of kilometers from their native habitats so we can admire and observe them. And just as we observe them, they observe us. A frissen megválasztott elnök élő televíziós beszéde abszurd fordulatot vesz. Egy pap próbálja a szegénység előnyeit hangsúlyozni közössége előtt, miközben egyre több ellentmondásba ütközik. A filmrendező „fontos” filmet készít egy őslakos közösségről, miközben saját képmutatása és hatalmi pozíciója fokozatosan lelepleződik. During a live broadcast of the FIFA World Cup final, a sports commentator suffers an emotional breakdown at the very moment of a historic victory. A newly elected president's televised address takes an absurd turn. A frissen megválasztott elnök élő televíziós beszéde abszurd fordulatot vesz. ––– After accidentally causing an injury at a house party, a man decides to return to his friends and pretend nothing happened. Following a chance encounter, a security guard briefly escapes the routine of his everyday life, setting off a series of unexpected events. In an elevator, a young woman attempts to blackmail a billionaire. During a live broadcast of the FIFA World Cup final, a sports commentator suffers an emotional breakdown at the very moment of a historic victory. A newly elected president's televised address takes an absurd turn. A priest tries to convince his congregation of the virtues of poverty, only to become increasingly entangled in his own contradictions. Meanwhile, a film director sets out to make an important movie about an Indigenous community, as his own hypocrisy and position of power are gradually exposed. These and similar stories come together in a sharply humorous satirical comedy that explores universal patterns of human behavior. Across sixteen short episodes, Argentinian Stories paints an ironic and ruthlessly accurate portrait of contemporary society. It introduces characters who feel instantly familiar: the hypocrite who claims the moral high ground out of self-interest, the self-assured but ill-informed expert who speaks confidently on every subject, and the seemingly polite citizen who has no qualms about taking advantage of others. A korábban számára ismeretlen lakótársak faggatása közben egyre élesebbé válik a konfliktusa a nyájaskodó közös képviselővel, aki épp egy nagy liftbeszerelési projektet akar keresztülvinni a késő délutáni lakógyűlésen. Tovább
