Az idősödő francia színész, Robert egyszerűen rajong Victor Hugo műveiért. Minden estéjét egy párizsi színház kulisszái között tölti, ahol előadja kedvenc szerzője írásait. The aging French actor Robert is passionately devoted to the works of Victor Hugo. He spends every evening behind the scenes of a Paris theater, performing the writings of his favorite author. Outside the stage, however, he is sad and lonely. A chance encounter proves to be a turning point in his life – but can he rediscover happiness beyond the boards that mean the world to him?

'Victor comme tout le monde' is an ode to French literature: alongside the immortal works of Victor Hugo, it also pays tribute to the poems and texts of writers such as Charles Baudelaire and Marcel Proust.
