Eminem 2000-ben adta ki ikonikus dalát, a “Stan”-t, ami egy mentálisan instabil, megszállott rajongójáról szól. Nem véletlenül nevezhetjük ikonikusnak, ugyanis a “Stan” szó 2017-ben bekerült az oxfordi angol szótárba. A dal címszereplője érzelmes levelekkel bombázza Eminemet, azt ismétegetve, hogy “pont olyan vagyok, mint te”. Ennek kapcsán készült el ez a megszokottól eltérő, teljesen hivatalos film, ami bemutat egy gondosan kiválogatott valódi “stan”-ekből álló csapatot, akiknek mély érzelmi kötődésük van Eminem egyes dalainak szövegvilágához.
