Krisztina (Für Anikó) körül egyre sötétebbé válik a világ. A látása menthetetlen. A helyzet megoldhatatlan. És ők megpróbálják megoldani. A nagyszerű színészeket felvonultató, bensőséges hangulatú, keserédes film szerethető karaktereiből a nehézségeik ellenére is árad a kiolthatatlan derű.

It is no wonder that Mommy Blue has already traveled the world before its Hungarian premiere and become a true festival favorite: it was selected for the Work in Progress section of the Karlovy Vary International Film Festival, screened in the official programs of the Beijing and Jerusalem film festivals, and will have its Hungarian premiere at CineFest Miskolc. Starring Anikó Für and Benett Vilmányi, it is a true Hungarian cinematic gem.
The world around Krisztina (Anikó Für) is growing increasingly dark. Her eyesight is beyond saving. Her happiness, perhaps, is not. But for that, she desperately needs her son (Benett Vilmányi), whose help is essential as she tries to build a new life for herself. The problem is that Máté is about to become a father, while his wife wants to move abroad. He finds himself torn in two: his mother is becoming increasingly dependent on him, while he himself wants to devote more and more of his life to his new family. The situation seems impossible. And yet they try to find a way through it. Featuring outstanding performances and an intimate atmosphere, this bittersweet film is filled with lovable characters whose irrepressible sense of humor and zest for life shine through despite the difficulties they face.
