Quando D. Regina é encontrada morta junto da sua velha fábrica com o corpo coberto de formigas, a sua neta Milene quer perceber porquê. Consciente de que os seus tios, todos no estrangeiro de férias, vão fazer perguntas, Milene investiga. A família Mata que agora habita a fábrica descobre a estranha rapariga escondida entre as roupas do estendal. Acabam por acolhê-la com cautela, carinho e música e Milene apaixona-se. Mas a sua família regressa obcecada com a sua reputação e com a venda do património e rapidamente demonstra que nunca estará pronta para aceitar a independência radiante de Milene.

Amikor Regina Leandrót holtan találják a régi gyára közelében, unokája, Milene szeretné megérteni hogy mi történt. Mivel tudja, hogy rokonai, akik külföldön nyaralnak, kérdéseket fognak feltenni, Milene nyomozni kezd. A Mata család, aki a gyárban él, megtalálja a kiteregetett ruhák között megbúvó furcsa lányt. When Regina Leandro is found dead near her old factory, her neurodiverse granddaughter wants to understand why. Aware that her relatives, all abroad on holidays, will ask questions, Milene investigates. On the grounds of the abandoned factory, she finds the Mata family, who now live there, and among them Antonino, a widowed construction worker. They welcome her with caution, kindness and music and she falls in love. But her family returns, obsessed with their reputation and selling the estate and quickly demonstrate they’ll never be ready to accept Milene’s radiant independence.
