Egy tehetséges zongorahangolóról kiderül, hogy egyedülállóan pontos hangolási tehetsége a legbiztonságosabbnak vélt széfek feltörésére is képessé teszi. Niki (Leo Woodall), hogy ki tudja fizetni barátja, és mentora, Harry (Dustin Hoffman) kórházi költségeit, kénytelen is használni ezen képességét, és csatlakozik egy betörő bandához. Hamar rájön azonban, hogy csapdába esett, és nem szállhat ki, mert különben szerelme, Ruthie (Havana Rose Liu) életét kockáztatja.

A talented piano tuner discovers that his uniquely precise ear makes him capable of cracking even the most secure safes. Niki (Leo Woodall), desperate to pay the hospital bills of his friend and mentor Harry (Dustin Hoffman), is forced to use this ability and joins a crew of burglars. He soon realizes, however, that he’s trapped and he can’t walk away, because doing so would put the life of his beloved Ruthie (Havana Rose Liu) in danger.
